Upper Marlboro, MD – The Raine Effect works with designers from start to finish in the production and promotion of their fashion collections. The company is also known for their top of the line fashion shows for all ages that includes diverse models, cutting edge performances and majestic openings and closings. As exemplified through its motto, “Design to your hearts content”, The Raine Effect relieves the stress associated with the business aspects of designing so that artists can focus on their craft and creativity.

The Raine Effect extends to the entire community an invitation to “Rock the Runway”, the first of many upcoming benefit fashion shows to be held in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia (DMV) areas. “In an effort to give back to our community, we have partnered with several local designer groups, the Prince George’s County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and Youth Equality Project (YEP). CASA is a volunteer-based organization that partners with the juvenile court to improve the lives of children living in foster care who have suffered from abuse and neglect. YEP’s mission is to provide support and services to foster youth who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or questioning” says Lorraine Grey. “We are helping new and upcoming fashion designers with the exposure and opportunities to achieve success.”
